Meet Dan Carroll
Dan Carroll grew up in the residential real estate industry, thanks to his hardworking mother who worked full time at the phone company and sold homes on the side. She raised Dan single-handedly and often brought him along as she previewed homes for clients. The seed had been planted. Years later, Dan frequently found himself discussing homes and neighborhoods in social settings.
In 2011, a friend recruited him to become an agent on a team she was forming. “The timing was perfect for me to pursue a career helping others to find their dream homes.”
Fueled by this passion, Dan loves walking through the door of a home that takes his client’s breath away — and then helping them through the process of making it their own. He prides himself on his zero-pressure approach to his interaction with his clients.
“You want to buy a home and I want to find you a home. The particular home is your choice, not mine,” he says, adding, “I’ll put pressure on the other side of the transaction when and where it’s needed, but the last thing you need is to feel stressed by our relationship.”
Dan’s clients can count on him to make the process as stress-free as possible while developing a trusted relationship and managing expectations to a realistic sales price.
He’s even been given the name of “Sanity Keeper” by a client who says, “The way he walks his clients through the process, educating them and supporting them through it all, is second to none. Buying/selling a home is up there in the top three most stressful life events, and there’s no one else I would want as my agent. In some ways it’s like having a realtor who’s also a mediator/therapist.”
While Dan is well-versed in neighborhoods all over the valley, he is passionate and knowledgeable about Phoenix’s historic homes and can guide historic home buyers and sellers through the intricacies of this type of transaction.
Beyond real estate, Dan loves to hike, gawk at classic cars, discover unique new and local places to eat, drink and listen to live music with his wife, the proudly self-proclaimed “Native Tourist.” He can also be found perusing annual historic home tours.
